Born and raised in New York, Bob Curreri began his career in post production in the early nineties as a music video colorist at National Video Industries. After turns as a director of photography, a music video director and then a lead guitar player in a band, Curreri returned to post production as a colorist when he moved to Los Angeles in 1999. He immediately landed a job at R!ot, Santa Monica and then moved on to the Syndicate in 2003.
Since then he has become one of the most prominent short form colorists in his field having colored hundreds of music videos for artists Beyonce, Lady Gaga, My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects, Weezer and Kid Rock, just to name a few. His commercial work includes spots for Honda, Volkswagen, Ford, Target, JC Penny, Budweiser, Yahoo and Reebok.In 2008, Bob Curreri returned to R!ot and then went on to CO3 Santa Monica before going out on his own to pursue feature film digital intermediates (his credits can be viewed on IMDB).
Over the years Bob Curreri has worked with many of the industry’s most talented directors and DP’s. He continues to produce trend setting work in short form, most recently collaborating with photographer Nick Knight for the Lady Gaga “Born This Way” music video. His feature film career is also quickly gaining steam having just wrapped “Without Men” starring Eva Longoria and Christian Slater.
